Art Moore's Speedster

Art was at the F.A.S.T. hillclimb in Weston, Missouri that was part of MAFCA'S 2000 National Convention.  He brought three cars with him from Upland, California. This is his speedster.
In the engine compartment we find a Riley Four-port being fed by two Stromberg carburetors.

Inside the passenger compartment are an assortment of guages, a shifter for the automatic transmission and hand controls. Art was injured in an airplane crash in 1981 and is unable to walk. He has built his cars despite the fact that he is confined to a wheelchair.
Here's Art on the hill. He set the fastest time of the event at 7.33 seconds for the 400 foot, 8% grade. For this accomplishment he was crowned King Of The Hill.
Art also brought his Pickup and the '26 T Roadster that his wife Olive drives.
