We will soon join Highway 93, which can be seen in the valley floor in the distance. It was in that area that Lewis & Clark camped as they passed through on their way to the Pacific. Clark camped there on his return  trip. For us, this was a very enjoyable journey on a road that was built when the Model T Ford was gaining popularity.
