1921 engine and rolling chassis. Engine is original model T with model A intake and exhaust manifold and Fordson carb and custom exhaust. Hubs were T 6 bolt modified to accept 5 bolt 21 inch model A wire wheels. The body is completely custom with the cab and turtle deck by John Deer (they both came off the back of a vintage John Deer combine). The ignition came from a mid 70's Chevy Vega, points plate, rotor, and distributor cap. The 4 point lobe was made with a CNC milling machine and pressed and pinned to the camshaft where the tiger timer roller assembly normally goes. It is a 12 volt system. The headlights, I believe are from a mid 30's Ford sedan of some sort. I rebuilt or resurrected the speedster from several parts on the floor of my wife's grandfather's workshop in Nebraska. The rolling chassis was a yard ornament having been converted to a lowly woodstake bed corn picking wagon. What you see is about 5 years of a little bit here and a little bit there work.
