Welcome to the official website of the Northwest Vintage Speedsters, a club dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and enjoyment of 1934 and earlier 4 cylinder speedsters and race cars of any make and model. Members need not own a race car or speedster. The club was established in 1975 by 18 speedster enthusiasts in the Portland area and has grown to over 175 members at one time. Our annual events is a 200 mile Endurance Run held on Labor Day Weekend which is held in various locations around the Northwest. The out-of-state members
who are unable to participate in our events normally consider their
membership as a subscription to our newsletter which is published seven
times per year. It includes notices and results of our activities and
business meetings, articles on speedsters and vintage races, and photos of
members' cars. It also offers free ads to members for speedsters and
related parts.
We welcome all speedster enthusiasts to consider joining our club. Our Business Meetings are held in the Tigard Senior Center, 8815 O'Mara St., Tigard, OR, 7:30 P.M., 3rd Tuesday of January, March, May, June, July, August and September.
