Bottom Rear

Building the Bottom Rear was my first planking experience.

Its Skill & Art.  The wood pieces are different colors. The first step is to array the pieces according to color. If any pieces have defects, this is the time to find them. Some of the defects are hard to see as I discuss on the Problems Page

Building the Bottom Rear was a great first effort. It is a small project that takes you through all the steps involved in creating a strip built shape.

It didn't have to be built first, but I'm glad I did it that way.  It could have been built last and attached to the main body at the end.
