Sanding The Body |
I had dreaded this step, but it went pretty quickly. The body was cleaned up by scraping it and shaped with a sanding board, then smoothed with progressively finer grades of sand paper. With Rod's help, we got it done in a day. The Strong back was on casters so it could be moved outside. There is a health hazard associated with cedar dust so we wore masks and appreciated the breeze outside. |
After sanding we covered the body so that noone would touch it and leave the oil from their skin on the wood. |
Then into the epoxy room. | |
